My name is Daniela Massolo, and I live in Buenos Aires, Argentina. I’m granddaughter of Italian immigrants arrived to South America at the end of the 19th century and at the beginning of the 20th century. My grandfather Luigi Massolo was born in the Commune of Alessandria, in Piedmont. The rest of my forbears were born in the Provinces of Macerata and Ancona (Le Marche), Rimini (Emilia Bologna), Cuneo (Piedmont).
I’m searching for my Italian roots since 10 years ago. I own several genealogical sites and a blog in Spanish, but my best expertise is about the Italian genealogy. In all these years I was gathering information and acquiring experience, and all of this is dropped in my sites.
Actually I would like to introduce you with this blog and the English version of my site www.ancestrositalianos.com , about Italian genealogy, formerly in Spanish and now translated to English. This is just the beginning. There’s a lot of information to share with all of you. It will be done little by little.
I have to thank Pablo Briand for his corrections and translations, but, over all, I appreciate the way he encouraged me to make this project come true. (By the way, you cannot lose his blog!)
